15 Days

For the last 15 days before I go on a mission I am going to try and post something every...or every other day. Just little things I have learned and realized while I've been preparing for my mission.

So here goes.

15 days.

I may or may not have a native Spanish speaking companion. You all laugh and say 'claro que si, what would you expect you are going spanish speaking.' Well for those of you that have ever gone on a foreign speaking mission maybe you experienced this, but getting my mission call and realizing I will be speaking spanish came at two different moments for me.

Now I'm not so much worried about rooming with someone that speaks a different language. Been there. Loved that.

But let's be honest, I'm not afraid of speaking in front of people and usually I have a pretty good "crowd" personality. But what happens when I'm trying to speak in Spanish..

I'm sure I will be fine and I'm not actually worried about it. If anything I find it funny that I hadn't thought of the idea of speaking Spanish (though I had been studing the language) until about a month after my call came.

This is just one of those thought processes you think about when getting ready for a mission.
